In 2014, Mayur got a work-from-home job at a startup. Instead of sitting at home, he started traveling while working online, calling himself a digital nomad. Shahzada had a similar journey in 2017

. In 2019, Mayur and Joy started India’s first digital nomad community in Goa, where professionals who work remotely gather, work from the coworking space in Goa, play board games and sing karaoke in the evening community gatherings, play beach volleyball on Sundays, and live a balanced life. Shahzada joined NomadGao coworking as a customer and later became an integral part of the team.

As a digital nomad, you have to make some really tough choices. The toughest part of it all is choosing between your love for traveling and that for your family. What if you could choose your family while traveling the world as a digital nomad?

That’s what we are creating at NomadGao. A chosen family of digital nomads where professionals from around the world live together, work together, eat together, and explore together. In an increasingly isolated world with technology replacing people, authentic human connection is what we genuinely strive for. We facilitate meetups, karaoke nights, board game nights, skillshares, excursions, potlucks, and other gatherings with a singular focus on connecting people.
