After spending years building remote teams at a startup and travelling the world, Mayur Sontakke started NomadGao in 2019 along with his partner Joy. The goal was to promote India among the global digital nomad community and inspire Indians to experience digital nomadism.

They built a tiny home in Assagao, Goa, India from scratch and eventually built NomadGao’s first community there.

Soon after, Shahzada, a digital nomad and community member, joined the team to spearhead the community. Today, he is NomadGao’s co-founding host. NomadGao is our way of enabling professionals and teams to live and work from anywhere in India and explore the digital nomad lifestyle.
